November Contestant: Chuckie & Weasle

Meet Chuckie & Weasle! These adorable 7 month old Rats were submitted by their loving mommy Corrina, from Arizona.  Chuckie is white with black and his brother is black with white.  They just have the best personalities.  Chuckie is the dominate little kick boxer and if you push him around, he will kick you like a Kangaroo.  Weasle is the sweetheart who will always come up to you to get rasberries & have you blow on his tummy.  This picture was taken while they were taking a bath together.  Corrina loves them so very much and I bet they love her just as much.  Aren't they sooo adorable?!  Thank you so very much for your submission.  Best of luck!

You can submit any pictures you wish and it does not have to be your pet for us to  post it.  You only have to be the owner of the pet & the picture for our Monthly Cutest Pet Contest.  So if you are like us and have a hard drive full of the cutest & funniest pets/animals in the world, then feel free to submit them anytime. :)

October Contestant: Oreo

Ace Has an Eye Infection

Hi everybody, we just wanted to let you know that one of our babies is a little sick.  Our oldest bunny Ace has some sort of eye infection causing her noticeable pain and irritation.  We are doing everything we can to keep it under control until we can get her to the vet.  Her top eyelid is severely swollen and there is some puss in the eye.  We have used a warm cloth to wipe away whatever we can and to try and clean the area up.  Her hair is also clumping a little under the eye from the drainage.  We are also trying to flush the eye every few hours with warm water after it has been chilled from  boiling. 

We are thinking of trying Baytril until we can get to the vet and we were wondering if anyone has used it before to treat an eye infection on a pet? Also does anyone have any suggestion on any other treatment methods.

 I only ask as I know we have nothing but animal lovers and a vet or two as members.  Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

September Contestant: Ruby

Meet Ruby!  She is a little girl rat who was submitted by her loving mother Corrina from Arizona.  She found out from her friend that their rat had babies, then later found out that they were going to be used as snake food.  So she went to her friends house and picked out the sweetest and most adorable rat and named her Ruby.  She loves giving kisses and getting attention from mommy but is a bit shy to strangers.  She loves running around the bedroom and hiding in different places.   Isn't she soooo adorable everyone?  Thank you so much for your submission.  Best of luck!
