It's the Holiday season and sadly there is another scam involving Bulldog puppies going around on the online community. There are many scams around this time of year, so please be extra cautious. The scam pasted below bothers immensely because they prey on animal lovers and people who are looking to adopt/rescue puppies. They make a bad name for the shelters worldwide who have numerous pets that truly need a home.
There are many versions of this e-mail scam going around but this is the latest one we received today. They will also use any type of breed in their scams. Also please note, they will usually make spelling errors on purpose, so it does not seem like a computer generated scam and it comes off as more personal.

Hi,
My name is Carrie Osborne co-manager of the Animal Care Shelter,our mission is to provide temporary care and shelter for stray, abandoned and
relinquished animals, and to place as many as possible into responsible and caring homes.
We also works to create awareness and support for the humane treatment of all animals and to end animal overpopulation through
education and the promotion of spaying and neutering.
We are currenly full with no more rooms for new arrivals and now looking for urgent foster and adoption homes for a group of bulldog puppies and 2 adults.
They are a product of puppy mill confiscate by the animal control and brought to our shelter for help.
If you are interested to be a foster or adoption parent for any of these dogs, please contact me immediately.
