Happy Labor Day Weekend Everyone & Please Be safe!

We Just wanted to wish you all a happy & safe Labor day weekend!

Also for everyone in the path of hurricane Gustav, we will be praying for your safety.  Please make sure to safely evacuate out of it's path if possible.  If you are unable to leave please find the nearest shelter and bunker down there until the storm has passed.  Please make sure to take all of your pets with you and enough food to last them several weeks in case of severe flooding.

 If you are located in New Orleans please stay tuned to your local news station for a possible announcement from Mayor Ray Nagin, concerning a mandatory evacuation within the next 72 hrs in case the storm forecasters predict a category 3 storm.  They might also issue the evacuation even if the storm is predicted as only a category 2.   Please be prepared and pack some things together for a faster evacuation.

We will be praying for you all and hope the storm doesn't land with much force and that no human or animal lives are lost.

We Have A New Member Of Our Family: Ryan!

Meet Gabriella's new baby puppy Ryan!  He is an 8 week old Jack Russel Terrier.  If you all remember Gabriella is Bubba's mommy, who as most of you know unfortunately passed away about 2 weeks ago.  After the heartache they suffered her Husband stated he did not want to get any more animals after loosing Bubba. He knew how very much his wife was hurting inside & out as he was himself torn up.  All of a sudden being the loving sweetheart man he is, he surprised her with Ryan who was up for adoption. 

There is no possible replacement for the love and bond they shared with baby Bubba and he will of course never be forgetten.  But little Ryan has already brought so much joy to Gabriella and her husband and they truly deserve it.  We are so very happy for them and wish the happiest days for them and their new puppy  in their long and loving future together. 

Gabriella wanted us all to share in their joy in welcoming their new baby into their family and to welcome him to his new family of pet friends on mycutepetpics.  Isn't he such a cutie everyone?  Thank you so very much for helping to save another lil baby who really needed a loving home and for also doing it in Bubba's name by adopting.  You and your  husband are wonderful people and we are grateful for having you and your family a part of our site.  We wish the best for you and your family and we can't wait to see pictures of Ryan as he grows up.  Have a wonderful day and God Bless.

Our August Contest Is Over! It's Decision Time!

We got our software working again so the updated pictures of the top 6 rated pets will be in tomorrows e-mail.  Thank you all so much for understanding and God Bless.

First of all we would like to say Thank You to everyone and that all of the contestants are truly winners in our eyes and have become a part of our hearts.  Thank you all so much for letting your pet('s) become a world-wide celebrity through our site. 

These four are the top voted pet's of the month but the several judges involved are allowed too choose any pet that they decide.  They have till the end of the month and as soon as all the votes are in we will post the winners picture and contact the owner. 

Please take this time to also remember the 2 wonderful pets named Botton & Bubba whom we lost earlier this month.  They are also amongst the highest rated pets of this month.  We will miss them dearly.  Thank you all so much and God Bless.

Sharyn's new Kids Have Been Born!

Meet Sharyn's new little family members! The picture on the left was taken on August 24th and the picture on the right was taken just one day later.  Look how 2 of the babies eyes have started opening up already.  Here is the recap of their birth.  One little fellow hatched on 8/20, 3 on 8/21 and the last lil one hatched on 8/23! Awww they are so adorable!  Sharyn has named one of the newborn Botton im memeory of the beloved Botton who was Sammy's best friend.

Awww & Ouch! Meet A Baby African Pygmy Hedgehog!

This has to be the most adorable baby animals in the entire world.  It's so unbelievably cute, even though it has a mohawk and a fur coat that can prick you hard enough to cause bleeding.  I bet it would feel the same as petting a cactus or porcupine.  But I can't help it because I still want to tickle his lil feet and try to cuddle with him if it was possible.  Anyone know if they are friendly from your own experience and if they make good house pets? Updated Pictures Of Our New Baby Bunny!

We just wanted to show everyone how small our lil new baby Killar really is.  She has adapted well in her new home and is getting along with almost all of her brothers and sisters.  It's only Ace that is showing any aggression but we are hopeful that after she get's spayed, she will learn to love her like we do.  We will keep you posted on the gangs progress.  Have a wonderful weekend everyone and God Bless.
